As I have mentioned in my last post, I will be adding articles about marriage and family. With this, I would like to start by sharing my own love story in which I believe many of you can learn from.
I first met my wife when I was staying with my aunt during my college days. I am almost 8 years older than her. She is an adopted child since she was a baby that makes her my cousin in papers. Unfortunately, we have not traced yet her real parents and relatives. Since we were always together, and as the song goes: Loves moves in mysterious ways, we fell in love.
Our family does not agree with such kind of relationship and besides, she is not my ideal girl and vice versa. In fact, we had a cool-off for more than a year because she thinks that we are not going anywhere, and we did not see each other during those times.
Until one time, she called me up and requested me to visit our grandmother because she was already very weak. We are cousins, remember? Finally, loves moves in mysterious ways, again!
This time, we did not allow anybody to destroy us. We got married after 7 long years of struggle to survive the relationship.
In fact, we decided to live away from them, and life the life of our own. Fortunately, there are a few close relatives who always there to support us.
Now, we have 2 children and I can say that we have already proven that we love each other, and we will do anything to keep our family intact and happy…against all odds!
Do not marry someone you can live with, marry someone you cannot live without.
To all my regular readers and dear subscribers, I would like to inform you that I will also be changing the title of this blog to make it more applicable to the future contents.
I hope you will still continue supporting me.
Thank you.
