This is such a thought provoking site. Even though I'm 62 a grandma and great grandma I find myself wondering if I did everything I could for my family. My daughter is 42 and has 7 children and 4 grandchildren. This family can keep everyone busy.

It never hurts to think about who you are and what you might want to improve. Good luck with your questions.

Hi.....let me answer to the question you have asked in the heading 'what type of parent are you?'

I am very strict but at the same time, lenient with my one and only child, my daughter. Again, at the same time, I am her only and only friend. Where strict, where lenient and where friendly, it is difficult to categorise it.

But, I think I am really a good mother.......she always says she will never get a good mom like me and that I don't have the 'I am the mother' air around me. Not only she, her friends also say that they wish their mothers are like me.

So, I guess.....I am okay.
